What is MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL?

The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second biggest event on the Asian calendar. It is celebrated in China, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and many more. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the eight lunar month. This year, it will be celebrated this Thursday, September 15th.

In tradition, the whole village would come together as a community, and families would work closely to harvest their crops. Forming of everyone coming together of friends and family, and a thanksgiving to the moon for an abundant harvest.
